O3L 2.0: import_to_registry.sh failed with self-signed CA certificate: "unable to ping registry endpoint https://..."

Symptoms

When self-signed CA certificate used, ./import_to_registry.sh will fail with below error:

# ./import_to_registry.sh o3l.oracle.com:5000
Checking file integrity:
ol-openstack-images-2.0.1.tar.bz2: OK
