O3L 2.0: How to create a Docker registry when having Docker registry on controller node (Doc ID 2078158.1)

Last updated on SEPTEMBER 14, 2017

Applies to:

Oracle OpenStack for Oracle Linux - Version OpenStack 2.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

By default, the Docker registry uses port 5000. However, port 5000 is also used by the Keystone service which runs on controller nodes. If you set up the Docker registry on a controller node, use a different free port for the Docker registry, for example port 5443.
