Oracle Linux: Errors Updating Yum Server Mirror After Upgrade from OL5 to OL6 (Doc ID 2083274.1)

Symptoms

 

Configuration of ULN YUM Mirror on OL6 server fails with the following error message when running the below command to sync the server with the ULN. This problem has been faced after the server was upgraded from OL5 to OL6  (Fresh installation). The same configuration was used on  OL5 and not working for OL6.

 

 

 

Changes

In this case it was previously working on OL5 after a fresh installation of OL6 using the same configuration for ULN YUM MIRROR as it was setup before the server was not longer working with OL6 to be used as ULN YUM MIRROR.
