Oracle Linux: LUN Rescan usig "rescan-scsi-bus.sh" fails, Server Can Not Identify New Added/Removed LUN (Doc ID 2114242.1)

Linux OS - Version Oracle Linux 6.0 and later
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure - Version N/A and later
Linux x86-64

LUNs were deleted from the Server.

Re-scanning LUNs using "rescan-scsi-bus.sh" or "echo "- - -"" command still list the deleted LUNs.

Tried removing LUNs as below:

Delete, rescan, multipath -v2 - the multipath -ll still showing the deleted LUNS.

Reboot fixed the issue but same problem and can not manager LUN without reboot.

Removed/Add LUNs on Server.
