Information in this document applies to any platform.
How to configure the NTP service to fall back to the local time on the server in case of failure of the NTP service. This is useful in RAC or other cluster environments, as RAC nodes can end up being automatically restarted or "fenced" if they end up with asynchronous time with the other nodes in the cluster.
