[PCA 2.x] How to Determine which OPUS Switch Port is Connected to which Compute Node/Management Node? (Doc ID 2182589.1)

Last updated on AUGUST 21, 2022

Applies to:

Private Cloud Appliance - Version 1.0.1 and later
Linux x86-64

Goal

On an Oracle Private Cloud Appliance, it is not allowed to change the order in which the ports are plugged on the two OPUS switches.

This note helps determining which component of the appliance is plugged in which ports in a two-steps phased approach. First, gather the list of the MAC addresses corresponding to each component and then connect on the switches to determine what is plugged in which port.
