[ PCA ] A subset of Compute Nodes are not able to Communicate over a given Custom Network ( user-defined )

Symptoms
On Oracle Private Cloud Appliance, a subset of a given PCA rack's compute nodes are not able to communicate over an user-defined network.
Looking at the output of the pca-admin show network <network name> command, all the compute nodes should be part of the Custom Network.
Attempting to diagnose further the issue, one can see that the non-working compute nodes are all making use of the second interface instead of the first one (e.g. eth7B instead of eth7 on compute nodes that can make use of this network).
