Oracle VM 3.3.X - on_crash is not persistent after making any Guest VM parameter change from Oracle VM Manager (Doc ID 2233284.1)

Last updated on MAY 26, 2021

Applies to:

Oracle VM - Version 3.3.1 to 3.3.4 [Release OVM33]
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure - Version N/A and later
Linux x86-64

Setting on_crash parameter from 'restart' to 'coredump-restart' reverts to original value after any change from Oracle VM Manager is made

./ovm_vmcontrol -u admin -p <password> -h localhost -v <Guest VM name> -c setoncrash -C coredump-restart

Tried Refreshing the Repository also but changes are not persistent

Upgraded the enviornment from Oracle VM 3.2.X to Oracle VM 3.3.X
