Symptoms

Unable to set EoIB jumbo frames to 9000 on an IB NIC interface supporting speed 10Gb/s speed :--

Example on eth8 with support speed 10Gb/s

RTNETLINK answers: Invalid argument

Set mtu 9000 is refused by system.

 

Changes

Change the jumbo frame size from 1500 to 9000.
