OL6 : Docker -- fsck fails on /boot -- ERROR :DEVICE IS IN USE (Doc ID 2269550.1)

Symptoms

 Running dbnodeupdate.sh on Exadata fails with the error below on domUs  at the point of fsck on /boot. Issue happens only on Oracle Linux 6 and not on Oracle Linux 7.

This issue is reproducible when the docker service running on domUs (virtual guests) - when docker is stopped, fsck succeeds.

On bare metal sytems, fsck on /dev/sda1 (device for /boot) succeeds.
