A NFS repository is no longer mounted on an Oracle VM Server with ovs-agent.log reporting "System Error: No route to host."

On Oracle VM, all supported releases, when checking if a repository is mounted on a Oracle VM Server e.g. after a VM Server restart, using 'mount' command.
One of the repositories is no longer mounted on the Oracle VM Server from 'mount' output.
Checking ovs-agent's log file (/var/log/ovs-agent.log), the following error is being reported:
- [2016-06-05 14:58:23 12431] WARNING (files:98) Error mount repository x.x.x.x:/export/NFS-export to /OVS/Repositories/0004fb0000030000fa0af55ed01015a7: Command: ['mount', '-t', 'nfs', 'x.x.x.x:/export/NFS-export', '/OVS/Repositories/0004fb0000030000fa0af55ed01015a7'] failed (32): stderr: mount: mount to NFS server 'x.x.x.x' failed: System Error: No route to host.
This error is reported several times, and keeps being reported after a period of time has elapsed.
