Last updated on JUNE 14, 2017
Applies to:Oracle VM - Version 3.0.1 and later
Oracle VM manager reports the following error when performing activities on HA-enabled guests (like start, stop etc):
OVMAPI_4010E Attempt to send command: configure_vm_ha to server: xxx failed. OVMAPI_4004E Sync command failed on server: xxx. Command: configure_vm_ha, Server error: org.apache.xmlrpc.XmlRpcException: <type 'exceptions.Exception'>:No such db file: /poolfsmnt/xxx/db/monitored_vms
Activities on pool system like Add/Remove will also cause this error.
The Folder "db" on poolFS mount (/poolfsmnt/xxxxxx) is accidentally deleted.
This folder is where the servers keep track of ocfs2 pool attributes like pool name, monitored (HA enabled) guests etc.
