Goal
The goal is to ssh enable the Oracle VM Manager CLI for admin operation without a password on localhost where the manager is installed. The product documentation describes the setup process from an external host. This note focuses on implementing password-less authentication on the manager host using the fewest possible steps. The procedure assumes that no passphrase for the ovmm root key for the root user is allowed by the deployment security policy.
