Oracle Cloud Infrastructure - Version N/A and laterOracle VM - Version 3.4.1 to 3.4.4 [Release OVM34]
Linux x86-64
Goal
This document explains the steps to implement CA certificate for the Oracle VM Manager.
By default, Oracle VM Manager provides its own self-signed SSL certificates stored within a custom keystore. The certificates that are provided are signed using an internal Certificate Authority (CA).
To avoid SSL validation issues in client web-browsers, the SSL certificate used to encrypt the communications between the web-browser and the Oracle VM Manager may optionally replaced signed CA certificate from an official Certificate Authority.
