Dell R730xd Server Exhibits I/O Performance Degradation Over Time (Doc ID 2313500.1)

Symptoms

It has been reported that Dell R730xd may report an IO performance degradation over time, and the only way to get them back to perform appropriate is to reboot the Server.

The following combination seems to be the one exhibiting the problem:

Hardware: Dell PowerEdge R730xd, BIOS: 1.1.4/11/03/2014
CPU: Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2680 v3 ( Haswell architecture )
C-State status: Enabled
Linux Version and Update: Oracle Linux Server release 6.5
Kernel Version: 2.6.32-431.5.1.el6.x86_64

This issue is only noticed on Sensitive Applications with High load.
