Symptoms

Attempting to increase the value of net.core.rmem_max value greater than 2147483647 results in the following error.

[root@OL6Test ~]# sysctl -w net.core.rmem_max="2147483648"
error: "Invalid argument" setting key "net.core.rmem_max"
