[ PCA 2.3.1+ ] Script Automating IPMI Settings for all Compute Nodes of a Private Cloud Appliance Rack (Doc ID 2320687.1)

Goal

 During re-generation of a Private Cloud Appliance OVM database, the person performing the re-generate of the OVM database used to have to use the Oracle VM Manager Graphical User Interface to edit IPMI settings for each compute node.

This note provide a script automating these changes.

Please note that this script will only perform the appropriate actions from release 2.3.1 on. It will have no effect on releases prior to that. The script may output that the setting was applied on previous releases, but it does not actually change anything on prior releases.
