Cannot clone/migrate the Guest VM to NFS repository
(Doc ID 2329381.1)
Last updated on AUGUST 20, 2018
Applies to:Oracle VM - Version 3.3.3 and later
New NFS repository created and mounts up correctly on all OVM hosts, but clone/migrate the VM from SAN repository to NFS repository fails.
When we perform a clone or migrate from an existing non-NFS repository to this NFS repository the job does not complete:
- only the vdisk image file has copied/cloned over fully, but vm.cfg has not,
- and OVM manager shows the job just as 'Running' state in the progress indicator
- The Adminserver.log reports the job started fine.
