Kernel Panic On OVS after hitting the Bug "kernel BUG at drivers/pci/msi.c:395!" (Doc ID 2330295.1)

Symptoms

On a dual-socket system, when trying to configure bonding, the OVS restarts when it tries to bring up bond interface with the following error:

kernel BUG at drivers/pci/msi.c:395! and below is the screen shot for the error being received:

But, OVS server boots up without any exceptions after the following changes:

1. If we disable one of the Ethernet port which was used in bond configuration.

Or

2. When we reduced the number of cores per socket.
