Unable to mount the storage volumes using 'mount /dev/sdx ' command.

'mkfs -t etx4 /dev/sdx' completes without any issues but the command 'mount /dev/sdx' returns below error.

#mount -v /dev/sdx /mnt
mount: unknown filesystem type 'ext4'

Moreover running modinfo ext4 gives an error.
#modinfo ext4
modinfo: ERROR: Module alias ext4 not found.

No changes.
