Symptoms

On Oracle Linux 7.x, the OpenLDAP configuration received an Error 80 when it's trying to upload the back_hdb module.

# ldapadd -Y EXTERNAL -H ldapi:/// -f config-ldap-linux-01.ldif
SASL/EXTERNAL authentication started
SASL username: gidNumber=0+uidNumber=0,cn=peercred,cn=external,cn=auth
SASL SSF: 0
