Linux NTP client is not syncing with Windows NTP server (Doc ID 2338398.1)

Symptoms

 The Linux client is not syncing with the windows NTP server, with ntpstat and ntpq showing the following outputs:

# ntpstat

unsynchronised
time server re-starting
polling server every 64 s

 

# ntpq -p
