[ PCA / OVM ] How to Find All Virtual Machines Which are Making Use of a Particular Network ?

(Doc ID 2345729.1)

Last updated on JANUARY 11, 2018

Applies to:

Private Cloud Appliance - Version 2.0.1 and later
Oracle VM - Version 3.0.1 and later
Linux x86-64

Goal

 On Oracle VM and Oracle Private Cloud Appliance, one may want to find all virtual machines which have Virtual NICs in a given Network. This note supplies an ovm_shell.sh script which lists all Virtual Machines making use of a given network.

There is only one parameter to edit, which is the display name of the network which the script should look for matching Virtual Machines.

That parameter is :

NET_TO_FIND='xx'

Edit the 'xx' to match the Network's name.
