Sparc Server Discovery Fails With The Error: object has no attribute 'split'

Symptoms

Sparc Server Discovery fails with the following error in the Manager:

Message: OVMAPI_4010E Attempt to send command: discover_pool_filesystem to server: xxxxxxxxxxxx failed. OVMAPI_4004E Sync command failed on server: xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx. Command: discover_pool_filesystem, Server error: org.apache.xmlrpc.XmlRpcException: <type 'exceptions.AttributeError'>:'NoneType' object has no attribute 'split' [Sat Jan 20 13:01:31 EST 2018]

The OVS Server shows this error in the ovs-agent.log file:
