Guest VM converted to PVM/PVHVM from HVM doesn't Boot (or doesn't detect vdisks) (Doc ID 2360039.1)

Information in this document applies to any platform.


Guest VM converted to PVM/PVHVM from HVM may show up the following symptoms:

1. Refuse to boot giving the following error.

fsck.ext3: No such file or directory while trying to open /dev/sdX


2. Boot up and some vdisks won't be detected.
