Oracle Linux: Server Experiences Continuous Soft Lock-up when Using UEK4 Kernel "fuse_abort_conn" (Doc ID 2367992.1)

Symptoms

A server booted with the UEK4 kernel 4.1.12-94.3.8.el7uek.x86_64 gets continueous lock-up notices.  In the /var/log/messages file or the system console log entries similar to these can be seen:

 Using the RHCK kernel variant works without problems.
