Linux NFS Mount on HP NAS Server Suffers from Intermittent Hangs and Timeouts (Doc ID 2390756.1)

Oracle Linux servers uses NFS mounts from an HP NAS server. NFS mount points started to hang and drop the mount points.

Running commands like df, or ls, did not returned the output or prompt. This behavior is intermittent, sometimes it may return successfully.

However, if you keep touching a file each minute on the NFS mount, the hanging will never occur.
