Symptoms

On : Oracle Linux 7.4 version, with Spacewalk version 2.7

The spacecmd command is failing with below errors:

# spacecmd

  File "/usr/lib64/python2.7/ConfigParser.py", line 302, in read

TypeError: coercing to Unicode: need string or buffer, NoneType found

# rpm -qa |grep spacecmd
spacecmd-2.7.16-1.0.1.el7.noarch
