This document describes how to configure and create Multiple External Network over VLAN Physical Network Provider.
- In Oracle OpenStack release 3.0.1, there are kollacli properties neutron_vlan_physnet, neutron_vlan_range (and also neutron_vlan_interface) which are now deprecated in Oracle OpenStack release 4.0.1.
- For VLAN provider network, the physical network (specified in property neutron_external_interface) should not be a VLAN tagged (e.g. eth1.100 or bond0.25) or alias (e.g. eth3:0) interface, bonding interface (e.g. bond0) or native network interface (e.g. eth0, enp0s31f6 or enp1s0f0) works fine.
- Both Linuxbridge and OpenvSwitch agent work with VLAN provider network. The openvswitch agent is used in this sample.
- For how to setup Multiple External Network with Linuxbridge agent, refer to Doc ID 2407797.1
