Guest VM (domU) hang while trying to increase the VG Size with error "lo_rw_aio_complete:454:ERROR:-28 - No space left on device. Device loop2 MAJOR:X MINOR:Y" on Oracle VM Server (Doc ID 2417063.1)

Guest VM (domU) running Oracle Linux with UEK, hung while extending the volume group (non-root)  .

The issue can be reproduced  with the following steps in example below:

The system logs of the dom0 server showed the below error:

Jun 28 08:18:35 server kernel: [1170035.959430] lo_rw_aio_complete:454:ERROR:-28 - No space left on device. Device loop2 MAJOR:X MINOR:Y
Jun 28 08:18:35 server kernel: [1170035.959432] blk_update_request: I/O error, dev loop2, sector 155809736
