Symptoms
The customer is expecting the NTP service to be running on the their Oracle Linux 7.x server, however it is not starting automatically after the server is rebooted.
When check the status of the NTP servvice, the following error is found:
# systemctl status ntpd.service
Unit ntpd.service could not be found.
