Ksplice: Failed to Remove ksplice uptrack patch with error ' Remove [xxx] NULL pointer dereference when unloading Xen block backend driver" After Upgrade (Doc ID 2431838.1)

Linux OS - Version Oracle Linux 6.4 with Unbreakable Enterprise Kernel [2.6.39] and later
Linux x86-64

Symptoms

Installed  Ksplice uptrack   on Oracle VM server . Then did an upgrade as suggested by install.

Then get error when try to remove Ksplice  uptrack  :

Remove [6grkr2zk] NULL pointer dereference when unloading Xen block backend driver.
Ksplice was unable to remove the update because modules that Uptrack patched off-line are currently loaded. In order to remove this update, you will need to first unload the following kernel modules:
- xen_blkback

 

Changes

Did an upgrade Ksplice uptrack as suggested by install.
