Symptoms
If during an operation the pool filesystem is not accessible or the network connection is reset, the status of the virtual machine ( VM ) shown in the Oracle VM manager might be wrong.
The AdminServer.log might show the following errors
- Pool filesytem not accessible
Server error: org.apache.xmlrpc.XmlRpcException: <type'exceptions.Exception'>:No such db file:/poolfsmnt/0004fb00000500002c61f4b4c5d4d5e2/db/monitored_vms
<2017-12-08T17:04:47.378-0600> <Error> <ovm.mgr.api.job.Job> <Job[Kill VM:HAVMtest01] Internal (operation) Error due to : OVMAPI_4010E Attempt to send
command: configure_vm_ha to server: test21.test.oracle.com failed.
