Symptoms

After changing the password for Oracle VM Manager MySQL database,  the following error message for restarting the ovmm service is seen in the AdminServer.log file:

After comparison,  the password strings in the MySQL output are the same strings before and after the password reset.  The password reset does not change the password value in the MySQL database.
