Last updated on FEBRUARY 02, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Linux Cloud Service - Version Oracle Linux 6.0 and later
Linux OS - Version Oracle Linux 6.0 and later
Linux x86-64

Symptoms

Applications may receive corrupted UDP payload data on Dell R930 servers if certain NIC device options are used. Depending on the application, unpredictable results may occur.  Diagnosis of this issue must be adapted for the specific application.  For example, an Oracle RAC Database may react with ORA-07445 error, followed by an application core dump.  The example below is from a trace file:

ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [kjbmpocr:spkey], [0], [2363548],
ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [kjctr_rksxp:validate], [], [],
ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [kjctr_pbmsg:badseq], [8], [21],
ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [corrupt_mh], [0x7FBB8B45EF08],
ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [kjctr_rksxp: Nested receive], [],
ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [ksxpmcpy1], [], [], [], [], [],
ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [kjctr_pbmsg:badbmsg2],
ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [kjctr_pbmsg:badbmsg2],
ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [kjdrisRMnovalid:!creating_pt],
ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [kjctr_pbmsg:badbmsg],
ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [kjbmpsch:rcvrd], [194], [4], [],
