Symptoms

Server model:   Dell Inc. PowerEdge R730/072T6D
HBA card:         QLogic 2690 Single Port 16Gb Fibre Channel HBA

 

On : Oracle Linux 7.2 version, RHCK Kernel 3.10.0-327.el7.x86_64 with default qla2xxx module 8.07.00.18.07.2-k, Qlogic HBA card not found.

On : Oracle Linux 7.2 version, RHCK Kernel 3.10.0-327.el7.x86_64 with 3rd party qla2xxx module 8.07.00.47.07.0-k, kernel crashes occasionally.

On : Oracle Linux 7.2 version, RHCK Kernel 3.10.0-862.11.6.el7.x86_64 with default qla2xxx module 9.00.00.00.07.5-k1, Qlogic HBA card not found.
