Information in this document applies to any platform.
An Ethernet NIC is showing a speed of 100Mb/s instead of the higher speed that the NIC is capable of (i.e. - 1000Mb/s, 10000Mb/s, etc). For example:
The Ethernet cable used by the NIC has been tested and no faults were found.
The NIC is connected to a port on the switch that supports and is configured to use the higher speeds supported by the NIC.
