Symptoms

Unable to mount an NFS share on a Linux Server and it fails with error  "Permission/Access is denied by Server". 

[root@Server /]# mount <NFSServer IP>:/data /mnt
mount.nfs: access denied by server while mounting xx.xx..xx.xx:/data

 

[root@Server]# mount.nfs4 -vvv <NFS-Server IP>:/data /mnt
mount.nfs4: timeout set for Wed Nov 14 11:37:35 2018
mount.nfs4: Protocol not supported
