Oracle Linux: NFS Filesystem Does Not Mounted At System Startup with Error 'NFS: nfs4_discover_server_trunking unhandled error -512. Exiting with error EIO' (Doc ID 2477512.1)

Symptoms

NFS shares defined in /etc/fstab, are not mounted during boot even with if _netdev mount option was enabled.

In file /etc/fstab:

<HOSTNAME>:/data01 /data nfs rw,sync,hard,nfsvers=4,intr,_netdev 0 0

Running "mount -a -O _netdev" successful mount the NFS share.

In the /var/log/messages:

Jul 16 09:33:01 <HOSTNAME> kernel: FS-Cache: Netfs 'nfs' registered for caching
Jul 16 09:34:31 <HOSTNAME> kernel: NFS: nfs4_discover_server_trunking unhandled error -512. Exiting with error EIO
Jul 16 09:34:31 <HOSTNAME> kernel: NFS: nfs4_discover_server_trunking unhandled error -512. Exiting with error EIO
