Goal
On very-large memory servers, a kernel memory image, or VMCORE, is often in the 500GB and 1000GB size. The upload attempt may be aborted from any of a large group of causes:
- Unstable network
- VPN session time out
- FTP or scp transfer drop
- Storage IO error
- Storage capacity issue
