Oracle Linux: Getting Error "WARNING: GPT (GUID Partition Table) detected on '/dev/mapper/deviceID" When Running Fdisk (Doc ID 2486636.1)

Symptoms

When running fdisk utility we may get the following error:

[root@localhost ~]# fdisk -l

WARNING: GPT (GUID Partition Table) detected on '/dev/mapper/xxxxx05b00a6db6d01d3c311507fb90d5'! The util fdisk doesn't support GPT. Use GNU Parted.
