Oracle VM: Force Use Of SSL/TLSv1.2
(Doc ID 2499682.1)
Last updated on JANUARY 24, 2022
Applies to:
Oracle VM - Version 3.4.6 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Note: TLSv1.1 was standardized 12 years ago, so not supporting it today is a critical product deficiency. Demanding that OVM Manager reduce its security to TLSv1.0 might work in the short term but it is *not* an acceptable long-term workaround.
It's acceptable to require TLSv1.1 (as PCI DSS allows it), but in practice, all implementations of TLSv1.1 also support TLSv1.2 anyway.
Goal
Force Oracle VM to use only the SSL/TLSv1.2 protocol.
