Symptoms

Trying to install Suse Linux Enterprise Server (SLES) 12 SP4 on Oracle VM Server for x86 environment is not possible since the installation process just hangs in the middle of it. The installer is loaded and this starts to run but then it hags on line:

[        0.200000] xenbus_probe_frontend: Device with no driver: device/vdb/0
[        0.200000] xenbus_probe_frontend: Device with no driver: device/vdb/51712
[        0.200000] xenbus_probe_frontend: Device with no driver: device/vdb/52728
[        0.200000] xenbus_probe_frontend: Device with no driver: device/vif/0
[        0.200000]       Magic number: 3:474:691
[        0.200000] Freeing unused kernel memory: 2540K

Installing other SLES versions like 11 SP4 and 12 SP3 work without any issue.

This is where the installation process hangs.
