Spacewalk: Synchronizing Spacewalk Software Channels Shows "Internal Server Error" While Synchronizing Software Channels (Doc ID 2511101.1)

Symptoms

System is getting the following error while synchronizing a group of software channels.

Internal Server Error
The server experienced a problem which prevented your request from being filled completely.  It may not be possible to execute this action at this time.

There are "File not found" messages regarding one of the log file in the /var/log/messages system log:
