Oracle Linux: Is it Possible to Prevent yppasswd from Asking for root Password when Use Command 'yppasswd' to Change non-root NIS password (Doc ID 2519329.1)

Command  yppasswd asks for root password when trying to change the user's password. Is it possible to prevent it from asking for the root password.

# yppasswd abc
Changing NIS account information for abc on <HOSTNAME>
Please enter root password:
Changing NIS password for abc on <HOSTNAME>
