Oracle Linux: Syslog gets flooded with systemd messages of 'Started Session' (Doc ID 2532938.1)

Symptoms

The /var/log/message file is getting filled with session messages very frequently.

Apr 15 14:45:18 localhost systemd: Started Session 2 of user <user>.
Apr 15 14:45:18 localhost systemd: Started Session 3 of user <user>.
Apr 15 14:46:10 localhost systemd: Started Session 4 of user <user>.
Apr 15 14:46:10 localhost systemd: Started Session 5 of user <user>.
Apr 15 14:50:02 localhost systemd: Started Session 6 of user testuser.
Apr 15 14:50:03 localhost systemd: Started Session 7 of user testuser.

Changes

 No recent changes made to the server.
