Oracle Linux 7 - "uln-yum-mirror" Fails to Build Local YUM Repository and Reports Error "Warning: cannot find repository" (Doc ID 2540192.1)

Symptoms

An Oracle Linux 7 server was configured with a  local ULN mirror, as per the documentation. However running the uln script failed to build the local yum repository with the following errors found in the uln mirror log:

 

#cat /var/log/uln-yum-mirror.log
## BEGIN PROCESSING ol6_x86_64_addons ##
Channel Dir: /u01/www/html/yum/OracleLinux/OL6/addons/x86_64
Warning: cannot find repository ol6_x86_64_addons
No repositories found
Saving Primary metadata
Saving file lists metadata
Saving other metadata
Generating sqlite DBs
Sqlite DBs complete
