Symptoms

A user tried to run the nstat command on an Oracle Linux system, but the command failed with the following error:

# /usr/sbin/nstat
Aborted (core dumped) <<<<<
.
.

 

Other applications that use this command can be affected.
For example, if the server is running OSWatcher and if nstat fails with the above error, then the whole OSWatcher application also fails.
