Symptoms

The Oracle Linux 6.x system (the CIFS client) shows below errors in the system logs:

Changes

There was a Network Connectivity issue between the CIFS client (Oracle Linux 6.x node) and the CIFS server and once the Network issue was resolved, the CIFS share was mounted as Read-Only and required rebooting the CIFS client to re-gain access to the CIFS share.
