Symptoms
As per TOP command one CPU has 100% wait time:
top - 15:29:40 up 6:05, 1 user, load average: 2.15, 2.06, 2.02
Tasks: 260 total, 1 running, 136 sleeping, 0 stopped, 0 zombie

Changes
Cause can be triggered for one of this reasons.
*) The core count was reduced.
*) There were installed a new kernel (UEK5 ).
*) A new QLogic FastLinQ FCoE card was installed.
